How can I Rename a VC/m Location?

Method

To rename a location DEVA to DEVZ:

1. Create the location DEVZ but map it to a different physical location from DEVA. (In version 2.0 onwards, you can map it to no physical location.)
2. Use the 'Copy' option under 'Location maintenance' to copy the version information from DEVA to DEVZ.
3. Change the mapping of physical locations for DEVZ to be the same as DEVA.
4. Set up transfer routes to and from DEVZ.

If you wish to remove DEVA:

1. Use the 'Version' option under 'Location maintenance' to remove the version information from DEVA.
2. Delete all the transfer routes which reference the location DEVA.
3. Use the 'Delete' option under 'Location maintenance' to remove location DEVA.
