Using the Device Types option in RESETUP, copy the DOSFILE device type to one named WORD.
Modify the following attributes of the WORD device type according to the size of paper that you will be using:
| US letter-size paper (landscape) | European A4-size paper (landscape) |
|---|---|
| Page width (chars) [175] | Page width (chars) [193] |
| Page length (lines) [60 ] | Page length (lines) [57 ] |
| Down arrow [86 ] | Down arrow [86 ] |
The actual page width and length may vary from the figures given above, depending on the size of the page margins which are used in Word. Also, if a font size other than 6 points is used, the page sizes above will need to be adjusted to compensate for a larger or smaller font size.
Using the Printers option in RESETUP, set up a printer, with a device type of WORD, which sends output to a sequential file. (See KB0047 for details of how to do this.)
Print the structure diagram to this file.
Using Microsoft Word, open the file you have just created.
Change the page orientation of the document to landscape.
Select the whole document (Ctrl+A) and change the font to MS LineDraw and the size to 6 points. A font size of 6 point is recommended, as it is small enough to represent a large amount of the diagram on a single page, while still being large enough to read. If a different font size is selected, the page size settings in the WORD device type in RE/m will need to be adjusted.
Select the whole document and change the line spacing to exactly 6 points. If a different font size was selected in the previous step, the line spacing should be set to whatever font size was chosen.
