By Rail

There are two options for rail travel from Central London: fast train and taxi or a slower train and short walk. The total journey times are similar.

  • Train and Taxi
  • Slow Train

Train and Taxi

Take the mainline rail service from London Waterloo station to Walton-on-Thames. This runs approximately every 30 minutes during the day and takes about half an hour. At Walton-on-Thames, walk through the tunnel to the London-bound side of the tracks, where there is a taxi rank. Ask for Barclays Bank in Shepperton High Street. The taxi journey will take about ten minutes and cost about £4. Alternatively, you can book a taxi to meet you by telephoning Studio Cars on +44-1932-222222. Our offices are on the top floor of the Barclays Bank building - enter by the main door and go up the stairs directly in front of you.

Slow Train

Take the mainline rail service from London Waterloo station to Shepperton. Trains run every half hour during the day. Shepperton is the terminus of the service and the journey takes almost an hour. On exiting the station, walk down Station Approach, the road immediately in front of you. After 60 meters the road joins Green Lane and there is a set of traffic lights. Turn left at the lights, into the High Street. Our offices are approximately 200 meters along on the left-hand side of the road, on the top floor of the Barclays Bank building. Enter by the main door and go up the stairs directly in front of you.

By Air

The most convenient airport is London Heathrow (LHR), which is about 20 minutes from our offices. London Gatwick (LGW) is about 45 minutes from us. Stansted, London City and Luton airports are about 90 minutes away and are not recommended.

We recommend that you pre-book a taxi rather than taking a taxi from one of the taxi ranks at the airport. To pre-book, phone Studio Cars on +44-1932-222222 and ask for a taxi from Heathrow Airport to Barclays Bank in Shepperton High Street. They will need to know where you are arriving from and your flight number. You will be met by the taxi driver immediately after clearing customs.

The cost from Heathrow to Shepperton High Street will be approximately £25.
